Quality Assurance Department

UTAS-A Quality (College Bylaws Article 57, 93 and 94) is a vital part of the UTAS-A’s Mission, effective planning and careful implementation, monitoring and reviewing of plans are essential to the creation of a high quality institution

The Quality Assurance Department (QAD) believes that everyone in the branch should embrace quality as a cultural value. As a department, we help the UTAS-A monitor and enhance its processes and systems for quality assurance. It is the QAD's responsibility to ensure that operations and activities adhere to the requirements of the Oman Authority for Academic Accreditation and Quality Assurance of Education (OAAAQA), the Sultanate of Oman's National Qualifications Framework, and the UTAS Strategic Plan.

The QAD assists the branch in maintaining high quality in its various management approaches by continuously monitoring policy and procedure implementation, evaluating the committees, units, and branch performance, looking for opportunities for improvement in survey results, among other QA activities. Indeed, a quality culture inspires employees and helps them perform better at work.

While we value quality culture, there are no limits to quality!
