The Continuing Education and Community Service Department (CECS) at the University of Technology and Applied Sciences – Al Musanaa is a newly established department, inaugurated on 22nd March 2023 by administrative decision (No: 322/2023). Its mission is to promote lifelong learning for staff, students, alumni, and the community by conducting training courses in various fields and providing accessible, innovative, and high-quality educational programs. Additionally, it offers certification courses through collaboration with national and international organizations.

The department aims to keep pace with the latest developments in various fields of science and technology by offering up-to-date certifications and courses. It collaborates and coordinates with both the government and private sectors, as well as members of the community, to assess and address their specific training requirements. This allows us to tailor training programs to suit their individual needs, providing upskilling, reskilling, and new skilling. These courses are led by academics, trainers, technicians, and staff from different university departments and centers.

CECS plays a central role in the University’s strategic plan for a continued commitment to providing accessible, high-quality learning opportunities for individuals of all educational backgrounds and ages. It also aims to foster a sense of community and service within our local area. We believe that education is a lifelong journey, and we are dedicated to supporting you in your pursuit of knowledge, personal growth, and community involvement.
